Hey Dr. Carissa here, I’m in my office and a lot of people asked me how to get rid of cellulite.

First I want to tell you what cellulite is. There are fat deposits that are pushing off against the connected tissue under the skin, giving a lumpy appearance and some people call it cottage cheese look on the skins.

So there are some things that you can do to help get rid of it, some are pretty invasive using lasers, also some types of massage, it’s usually a combination of massage and lasers to treat it.

But something that you can do at home actually are lower body exercises, so anything that you can do to strengthen your hamstrings and the backs of your legs, that will help get rid of cellulite.

And of course always losing extra weight, so if you do have some extra weight to lose, that will help, you got to bring down your overall body fat percentage and lift weight, decent floor body exercises like squats for example, or leg curls at the gym, those would help.
