My Feelings Photo Cards

Each card has a frame for a photo: your child's own face for the feelings (or a drawing they make), and their real things for the I need cards and the calm choice cards: their blanket, their cup, their favorite book. The word is printed under each frame. No faces are included: you add your own photos or drawings.

How it works

1. Check-in board: ask "How do you feel?" and let your child point. Then "What do you need?"
2. Strip: your child puts up a feeling, a need and a calm choice. Say it together: "I feel tired. I need quiet. I can read a book."
3. Calm choices board: put up the six choices your child likes best, where they can reach it.

Sizes and format

• 2 PDF files: the same 9 pages in US Letter (8.5 x 11 in) and A4. Cards and slots are the same size in both.
• Every page has a 1 inch check ruler. Print at "Actual size" with background graphics on.
• The photo frames are blank: you add your own photos. The PDFs have no fill-in fields. No clipart and no stock photos are included.
• Instant download. No physical item is shipped. Laminating pouches, hook-and-loop dots and photo prints are not included.
