Communication boards

A communication board is a printed sheet of pictures and words that a person points to in order to say what they need.

Our boards are made for adults and the family and caregivers who talk with them every day. Each one uses grown-up pictures, one or two plain words per card and cells big enough to point to with a whole hand.

Print a board at home, slip it into a sheet protector or laminate it, and keep it where conversations happen: by the bed, on the tray table, next to the favorite chair.
